Wear loose clothes like togas
Shun candies like nougat
Containing much sugar

Study like a gnana
Gita and purana
In lotus asana
Live on light and prana
 
See eternal Roma
Drink plenty of Soma
Also called haoma
WAKE UP from your coma !

Give many thanks to your mummy
For having you in her tummy
And caring for you while gummy
Giving you food you thought yummy
 
If you think the world is crummy
It's through thinking like a dummy
Try reading poems by Rumi
With all Earth's peoples be chummy

Stop eating bee's precious honey
In honeycomb, set or runny
It is really not that funny
Eat raw carrots like Bugs Bunny !
 
Be single with your own money
This will make your life more sunny
With many monkeys and ponies
Instead of skint, broke and stoney
~
Marriage causes acrimony
Divorce costs much alimony
Honour both lingam and yoni
Sex equality isn't phoney
 
Patriarchy is baloney
Do you know what I mean, Tony ?
With AIDS making people bony
It's all getting Babylon-y
~
 
 
 
 
Stop your borrowing from the banks
They are up to their usual pranks
False currency the system franks
The whole financial business wanks
 
Never trust the aggressive Yanks
With their missiles, bombs, mines and tanks
Of the army, don't join the ranks
Vaccine-poisoning is your thanks
~
Do not beg nor scrounge like some ponce
Resentment may be the response
Limit your material wants
Drink deeply from spiritual fonts
 
On strangers, neighbours do not pounce
As cultists, good news to announce
Believing evil you will trounce
Just your own wrong-doing renounce
~
In hemp or linen you're best dressed
Or organic cotton if pressed
Get enough beauty sleep and rest
Try not to become over-stressed
 
Feed your body only the best
For babies, this is mother's breast
Don't keep putting it to the test
This is your soul's earnest request
~
Exercise body as you need
In case your muscles go to seed
Avoid envy, avarice, greed
Be pure in each thought, word and deed
 
Respect all religion and creed
The ageless teachings read and heed
On these your mind may freely feed
So Higher Spirit may be freed
~
Avoid chemicals like the plague
And any drugs which make you vague
Don't follow fashion or the vogue
Or behave like villain or rogue
 
Smoke not cigars, pipes, roll-ups, fags
Else skin will wrinkle, jowls will sag
Do not forever moan and nag
Or you'll become a bitter hag
~
Do not panic, flap and flurry
Nothing's ever worth the hurry
Meditate on mat or dhurri
Whatever you do, don't worry !
 
Be careful of spicy curry
It may turn your poo to slurry
Gluttony will make you sorry
Instead eat seaweed like nori
~
 
 
 
 
Eat whole-grains spelt, buckwheat, oats, rye
Your food try not to cook or fry
Have a sense of humour that's wry
Into mysteries you should pry
 
It may be the case when you try
Things seem always to go awry
But for this don't be sad and cry
It's sure you'll end up safe and dry
~
Cut out meat, fish, fowl, eggs, dairy
Of the microwave be wary !
Shun liquor which makes you lairy
And dope too that's customary
 
Let your house be light and airy
Hike on hill and open prairie
Discover goblin, elf and fairy
Be visited by Saint Mary
~
Do not be sleazy like a tart
Or dull like a boring old fart
Or shopaholic at the mart
Make life's experience an art
 
To bull's-eye centre aim your dart
Reform, transform, make a new start
Of the Cosmos you are a part
So think, speak and act from the Heart
~
Do not fuss around with your hair
Rather of body take more care
To limit excess wear-and-tear
Give it a chance for its repair
 
Of your abundance, you should share
Create a world that's just and fair
Stand up for freedom, if you dare
For those that suffer offer prayer
~
Drink a juice of orange and lime
See an actor perform his mime
Listen to poets' line and rhyme
And with your loved ones spend more time
 
Don't you know that it is a crime
To steal another's dollar, dime ?
You have a choice, a world of grime
Or one that truly is sublime
~
“Love's stronger than death” is a fact
Solve disputes with empathy, tact
Make the pursuit of peace your pact
And out of kindness always act
 
When circumstances seem quite black
It may require a change of tack
When being balanced is a knack
Of insight you will have no lack
~
 
 
 
Release the limits of your mind
You are unlimited you'll find
To ALL creation please be kind
Animals, plants and humankind
 
Not with stiff dogma your Self bind
Nor be chained to the daily grind
But in fantasy worlds unwind
The dreams for which you've always pined
~
Have faith in the power of good
In your heart you realise you should
Change your thinking to “Can” not “Could”
Believe it “Will” not wish it “Would”
 
If you feel society's odd
Killing dolphins in search of cod
Concreting Nature's untouched sod
Follow inner Goddess or God
~
You do not need any saviour
In the past such was the flavour
It's Masterhood you should savour
Make a change in your behaviour
 
When determination waivers
Know the game is never over
Do yourself a simple favour
Just be happy like a raver
~
Always keep open eye and ear
For new teachings that may appear
And progressively, year on year
Your destined path will be more clear
 
Beautiful music you should hear
Yet of solitude have no fear
For in the stillness is God near
A peace that moves a soul to tear
~
Others may tease, laugh, mock and jeer
When you make Spirit your career
But while they're boozy at their beer
You will be in Heaven, my dear
 
So forget so-called friends and peers
When they scorn you, thinking you queer
On your life's course, steadily steer
For nearer bliss you'll be each year
