Green Angels

The Festival of Life emerged from the Green Angels a community of friends who hosted monthly raw/living-food gatherings & potlucks in London. This was a great opportunity to learn how to prepare delicious raw/living-food, to network and socialise with others following this lifestyle, there were presentations on a variety of topics which included : eco villages/ecoforest, indigo children, transformational poetry, unity of religion, pH and acid/base balance and just to generally socialise, chill or dance. There were usually also a range of stalls varying from dried-foods (nuts, seeds, fruit etc.), organic hemp & juice bar, durian, bookstall, raw cakes etc.

Green Angels also hosted a variety of other more spiritual activities ranging from shamanic journeying, drumming, bhajans, jamming, performance poetry, solstice/equinox celebrations, wingmakers workshops, crystal courts (study of Mayan calendar) etc. etc.
Due to the lease expiring on the venue Green Angels is now nomadic and the community keep in touch with each other and share event information by Cyber Space ( address below) and meet up at festivals in the summer. Tanya and Michael the original founders are presently ( as at July 2006) running a Organic Whole food Co-op Bridies Yard , in Glastonbury , BA6 9NU
